Orionintie 1A

In 2023, we executed a comprehensive annual maintenance at Orion’s headquarters and Espoo factory. This wasn’t just routine; it was about ensuring peak performance and airtight integrity of the ventilation systems. We replaced filters and ran meticulous checks because in pharmaceuticals, reliability and cleanliness in ventilation aren’t just important—they’re critical. Every technician underwent safety training before stepping foot on site. Precision and attention to detail were non-negotiable. Photography was off-limits per contract terms—keeping the focus on results rather than snapshots. This wasn’t just maintenance; it was a crucial step in upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency in a high-stakes environment.

2023

A major pharmaceutical company’s headquarters and factory in Espoo underwent its annual maintenance on Orionintie. The job involved checking the functionality and tightness of the ventilation equipment and replacing filters. Precision and attention to detail were crucial, given the critical nature of reliability and cleanliness in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Here’s why the job demanded exceptional precision and complexity:

1. Safety: Access was tightly controlled. All personnel had to complete safety training before entering the facility to ensure they understood the site’s specific safety requirements and protocols.

2. Ventilation System Functionality: Verifying the equipment’s functionality required precise measurements and analysis to ensure the system operated optimally and met stringent pharmaceutical standards.

3. Tightness: The system’s tightness was rigorously checked to prevent leaks that could compromise both the production process and employee safety. Ensuring tightness involved thorough inspections and, if necessary, sealing measures.

4. Filter Replacement: Filters were replaced according to the manufacturer’s guidelines to maintain air purity and system performance.

This project demanded specialized expertise and meticulous planning to deliver a reliable and safe outcome in a demanding pharmaceutical environment. Photography was not permitted per agreements, adding to the challenge of documenting the work.
