An IVAeris technician checks and adjusts a ceiling valve indoors as part of air ventilation troubleshooting. The image relates to Air Ventilation Inspection and Measurements / Problem Investigation (identifying the root cause, verifying airflow rates, and providing practical corrective recommendations).
Indoor noise level measurement: the result is shown in a phone’s analysis view, with a kitchen area in the background. The image relates to the Noise Level Measurement service (assessing air ventilation noise and identifying the source of disturbing sound).
An IVAeris specialist measures a home’s air ventilation airflow at a valve using a handheld instrument. The image relates to the service Air Ventilation Inspection and Measurements (airflow measurement and balancing, pressure differentials, and performance verification).

Air ventilation inspection and measurements

An air ventilation issue is only solved once you know exactly what is wrong. Our inspection services range from a quick air ventilation assessment to a comprehensive system inspection—you choose the scope based on your needs. We measure airflow rates, check pressure differentials, assess ductwork airtightness, and, when needed, perform thermal imaging or laboratory-based mould testing.

Every inspection includes a clear report with practical corrective recommendations—not just raw data. The reports are suitable as-is to support decision-making for a housing company’s board, a property manager’s documentation, or a detached house owner’s needs. We also investigate noise-level issues, indoor air quality, and surface moisture—everything from one provider, with a single point of contact.

An IVAeris specialist carries out an on-site air ventilation assessment and reviews the findings with the client. The image relates to Air Ventilation Inspection and Measurements (air ventilation assessment/system inspection, clear reporting, and corrective recommendations).
An IVAeris engineer provides air ventilation guidance and technical consulting, reviewing plans and documentation at a workstation. The image relates to Air Ventilation Consulting and Project Coordination (remote consultation, technical consulting, design, and project management).
Air ventilation duct cleaning in progress at an apartment building: cleaners are working from a lift at the outdoor air duct grille, while an IVAeris specialist in a bright orange work uniform supervises and inspects the quality on site. Air ventilation consulting and project coordination

Sometimes you need an expert opinion before making any decisions. Our consulting service provides a clear, prompt assessment from a mechanical services engineer—remotely or on site. A short remote consultation is enough for straightforward questions; for more complex situations, we offer in-depth technical consulting with a comprehensive review of your system.

We design air ventilation systems for new builds and renovations using professional design software. If needed, we can coordinate the entire project: selecting the right contractors, supervising work quality, and ensuring the implementation matches the design. We also act as the officially appointed air ventilation site manager and water and drainage site manager (KVV) when a construction project requires a licensed responsible supervisor—giving you authority-approved oversight and professional supervision through a single point of contact.

An IVAeris technician installs a cooker hood/kitchen extract system and verifies correct connections and operation. The image relates to Air Ventilation Installation and Repairs (cooker hood installation and commissioning, with airflow measurement and balancing when needed).
Damper actuator replacement in air ventilation ductwork: the actuator is removed and a new one installed so the control dampers operate correctly. The image relates to Air Ventilation Installation and Repairs (damper actuator replacement and restoring proper system operation).
Technicians clean and service a roof fan, checking operation, contamination, and condition to ensure the extract system performs as designed. The image relates to Air Ventilation Unit Maintenance / Air Ventilation Installation and Repairs (roof fans, fans, and performance verification).

Air ventilation unit service and maintenance

Servicing an air ventilation unit is not just about replacing filters—it’s about ensuring the entire system operates correctly. In a full service, we check fan condition, heat recovery efficiency, seals, condensate drainage, and control system functionality. You receive a clear report on the unit’s condition and any potential repair needs.

We offer maintenance for every need: a quick filter service, a comprehensive seasonal service, and a thorough full service. We also service air-source heat pumps and exhaust air ventilation systems. Our technicians are specially trained air ventilation inspectors—they can identify hidden issues that a standard service technician may miss. We provide both one-off services and flexible maintenance agreements to keep your system performing year after year.

Finalising grease duct cleaning: two IVAeris technicians in protective gear clean a roof fan. The fan blades and internal surfaces are treated with mechanical scraping and chemical cleaning to remove grease, ensuring the extract system operates safely and efficiently. The image relates to the Grease Duct Cleaning service (including roof fan cleaning and performance verification).
Air ventilation duct cleaning in progress on the roof: a negative-pressure unit and hoses are connected to the ductwork via an access hatch to remove debris in a controlled manner. The image relates to the Air Ventilation Duct Cleaning service (cleaning supply and extract ducts and verifying cleanliness).
An IVAeris technician opens a restaurant kitchen canopy structure and access hatch to begin brushing and cleaning the grease duct. The image relates to the Grease Duct Cleaning service (statutory annual cleaning, fire safety, and performance verification).

Air ventilation duct cleaning

Professional air ventilation duct cleaning is an investment in your property’s energy efficiency and the service life of the air ventilation system. We are among the few companies in Finland with a registered professional qualification for air ventilation duct cleaning. This means we know exactly how to carry out cleaning correctly in different types of properties, and we verify quality by inspecting the end result.

We clean both supply and extract air ducts in apartment buildings, detached houses, and commercial premises. We also perform the legally required annual cleaning of restaurant grease ducts, as well as deep cleaning of air ventilation units—combining cleaning and maintenance into one comprehensive service. We operate throughout the Uusimaa region.

An IVAeris technician replaces air ventilation unit motors/fans: the old components are removed and new ones installed to restore airflow and performance. The image relates to Air Ventilation Installation and Repairs (motor replacement and restoring system functionality).
An IVAeris technician descends with safety gear into a deep, confined air ventilation shaft to carry out demanding ductwork installation and repair work. The image relates to Air Ventilation Installation and Repairs (challenging routes, repairs, and performance verification).

Air ventilation installation and repairs

We install, replace, and repair—ranging from minor vent work to complete replacement of an air ventilation unit. Every installation includes airflow measurement and balancing, so the system performs as designed from day one. We are comfortable with demanding sites: we deliver a solution every time, whether it’s a tight plant room in an older building or a complex duct routing.

Our most common installation tasks include air ventilation unit replacement, fan motor replacement, installation of make-up air vents, replacing flexible accordion ducts with spiral-seam ducts, radon fan installation, roof fan installation, installation of cooker hoods and extractor canopies, and replacement of silencers and damper actuators. We also carry out tailored installation work by agreement—tell us what you need and we’ll plan the solution together.
