Seasonal maintenance for ventilation units
Filter change, seasonal settings and a function check - every spring and autumn.
Service Description
Ventilation seasonal maintenance is the routine service of the ventilation unit, best done twice a year: in autumn before the heating season and in spring after it. The same logic as changing your tyres - a ventilation unit needs a seasonal check and adjustment to stay in good condition. During the visit we replace the filters, set the unit to the correct seasonal mode (summer/winter), check the temperature settings and go through the unit's operation. This is a light but comprehensive check, not a thorough cleaning. The 10 checkpoints: 1. Filter replacement (the filter is billed separately) 2. Summer/winter mode and temperature settings check 3. HRV cell cleanliness check 4. Fan cleanliness and function check 5. Condensate drain function check 6. Post-heating coil function check 7. Controls and settings check 8. Tightness and insulation check 9. Sound level check 10. Service hatch and service reminder check The price includes: the seasonal maintenance visit, filter replacement work, seasonal settings, the 10-point check, and travel costs in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The filter is billed separately. The price does not include: filters (the replacement work is included, the filter is billed separately), cleaning of the HRV cell or the fans, repairs, ductwork maintenance, or airflow measurement. We support the most common brands: Enervent, Swegon, Vallox, Parmair, KAir. If the unit needs a more thorough service - for example HRV cell cleaning or a wider inspection - see the ventilation full service. If you want the maintenance done regularly without remembering it, ask about the maintenance agreement. The labour share typically qualifies for the Finnish household expenses tax credit (kotitalousvähennys). We serve Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen and the rest of Uusimaa.
