The client was planning to build a single-family home and wanted to ensure an efficient and optimal ventilation system from the outset. With a designer already hired, IVAeris Oy was not responsible for the overall design; the same firm handled all aspects of the home’s planning. IVAeris Oy’s role in the project was to present modern and energy-efficient ventilation solutions.

The challenge in this project was the client’s desire for a shed roof, which required meticulous attention to the placement of ducts. Additionally, ducts passing through fire-rated areas needed careful planning. Preliminary plans and central diagrams for the ventilation were developed with the client, and a suitable ventilation unit was selected.

Key focus areas during the project included:

Modern and Energy-Efficient Solutions: We presented the latest ventilation solutions that were both modern and energy-efficient, ensuring optimal ventilation for the home.

Duct Placement in a Shed Roof: Special attention was given to duct placement due to the shed roof. The design ensured that ducts were routed logically and efficiently, considering the roof’s shape and spatial constraints.

Ducts in Fire-Rated Areas: Ducts passing through fire-rated areas were carefully designed to meet all safety requirements and function optimally.

Selection of Ventilation Unit: Finding a suitable ventilation unit that met the client’s needs was a crucial part of the project. We ensured the chosen unit was energy-efficient and met all ventilation requirements.

The result of this project was a functional, modern, and energy-efficient ventilation system that met all of the client’s wishes and needs.
