IVAeris Oy, the ventilation system experts in Espoo, executed a comprehensive ventilation upgrade for a private client at Örkkilaakso 3. This project encompassed a range of tasks, including cleaning old ventilation ducts, inspecting the system with camera diagnostics, designing ventilation plans with CAD drawings, replacing the ventilation unit, and adjusting airflow.

In this upgrade, the old heat recovery unit was replaced with the new Vallox 121 SE ventilation unit. This A-rated, low-energy unit is designed for medium-sized homes and boasts a heat recovery efficiency of up to 80%. The Vallox 121 SE fits directly in place of the old unit without requiring ductwork modifications, making it an excellent choice for this renovation.

The new system features advanced controls, including an electronic Digit SED control panel, with optional CO² and %RH sensors for precise ventilation regulation according to the occupant’s needs. Residents can now manage ventilation settings from multiple rooms and program fan speed options for each hour of the week.

Additionally, the Vallox LON adapter allows for remote system control, providing ideal conditions for healthy and comfortable living. The mechanical ventilation adjusts air changes based on needs, crucial during activities like sauna use, cooking, laundry, or family gatherings. Proper ventilation is essential for healthy living, ensuring that moisture and contaminants are effectively expelled from the building.
