At Puistotie 1, Espoo, IVAeris Oy’s expert team carried out a meticulous cleaning and maintenance of the office building and warehouse ventilation systems. The project lasted nearly a month and was scheduled during the winter holidays to avoid disrupting EBM-Papst Oy’s operations.
The duct cleaning involved using ultra-cleaning brushes, rotating brushes, and vacuum devices. The work was executed with precision and adherence to best practices to ensure the ventilation system’s safe and efficient operation.
Maintenance included treating the IV machine room walls with Grafotherm bonding paint due to detected dust issues from mineral wool. The wall insulation had dried out, allowing fiber dust into the system, making this step essential for maintaining cleanliness and performance.
The old AC motors in the ventilation units were replaced with new, energy-efficient EC motors, enhancing the system’s efficiency and reducing operational costs. Finally, airflow was precisely adjusted using relative methods to meet regulations, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
