IVAeris Oy executed a high-quality ventilation measurement, adjustment, and balancing, including noise and sound level assessments, for the apartment building at Rautalammintie 2 in Helsinki. The work was commissioned by Consortia Finland Oy and completed in mid-November, as scheduled.

The core of the task involved meticulous measurement, adjustment, and balancing of the ventilation system. These steps are crucial for ensuring the system operates efficiently and evenly. Measurements confirmed that the system was running at its designed capacity, while adjustments ensured that airflows were correctly balanced across all apartments. Balancing guaranteed that each room received and expelled an equal amount of air, enhancing indoor air quality and resident comfort.

Additionally, noise and sound level measurements were conducted to ensure that the ventilation system did not disrupt residents’ daily lives and that noise levels remained within regulatory limits. Based on these measurements, further adjustments were made if necessary to reduce noise.
