The ventilation project at Pancho Villa restaurant was challenging due to numerous deficiencies in the originally installed system. Our team, in collaboration with external contractors, addressed these issues, including an inefficient exhaust fan, inadequate exhaust air systems, and insufficient supply air units. The installation, adjustments, and updated blueprints ensured a functional and effective ventilation system tailored to the restaurant’s needs.

The Pancho Villa restaurant ventilation project, commissioned by Safe Invest Oy, was a complex and demanding undertaking involving the correction of SRV’s installation errors and deficiencies.
We identified that the exhaust fan installed by SRV was underperforming, so we replaced it with a more powerful model and ran a three-phase electrical cable to the ceiling. The previously omitted exhaust for the cleaning room was installed, wall penetrations were sealed, and all penetrations were checked for potential issues.
The kitchen’s supply air unit was upgraded due to the original’s inadequate capacity. The fresh air duct installation was corrected to eliminate a bottleneck that restricted airflow. The ductwork was securely suspended using fixed mounting points.
Additionally, we replaced the kitchen’s Halton canopy and the dining area’s air-handling unit with more efficient models. The Swegon LTO unit’s heating coil was updated to meet the required supply air volume. Finally, the ventilation blueprints were revised to reflect the actual installations.
New ventilation components, including ducts and parts, were ordered and received. Installation progress was continuously monitored, and any issues identified were promptly addressed. Additional labor and experts were brought in as needed, and necessary permits for the ventilation work were obtained from the property management.
The project was closely monitored, and plans were regularly updated based on new findings. Installation work was meticulously documented, and technical solutions were adjusted as needed to ensure a safe and effective ventilation system for the restaurant.
