Service Description
Sound level and noise measurement, when the ventilation or other building services are noisy and you want to know whether the permitted sound levels are exceeded. The measurement gives an objective answer: the measured levels are compared against the requirements of the Finnish decree YMa 796/2017 and the guideline values of the SFS 5907 acoustic classification standard. We measure the sound levels (LAeq) room by room, up to 15 measurement points per room, with a CESVA SC-102 sound level meter suitable for measurements according to the SFS 5907:2022 standard. The results are recorded in a measurement record. The service is a good fit when the hum of the ventilation is disturbing, you suspect the noise level exceeds the regulations, you need a documented measurement result for the housing company, a builder or a complaint, or you want baseline data before sound attenuation measures. The price includes: sound level measurement, a measurement record, comparison of the results against the limit values, recommendations for next steps, and travel costs in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The price does not include: implementation of sound attenuation works, or a structural sound insulation study. How it works: 1. Book the measurement online. 2. Our specialist measures the sound levels on site. 3. You receive the measurement record and recommendations. We serve Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen and the rest of Uusimaa. If the measurement shows that the noise comes from the ventilation, a suitable next step is for example the installation of duct silencers or airflow measurement and balancing.

Invoicing is possible - send a request to info@aeris.fi. Schedule changes and cancellations Schedule changes must be made at least 72 hours before the agreed time via our service page. Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance by email. A 20% handling fee is charged for cancellations of online payments, and 5% for cancellations of invoiced services. Order changes If an order needs to be changed, this is agreed case by case. Any additional costs are agreed separately. Warranty and liability The work is carried out to a high standard and as agreed. Installation work has a two-year warranty. Any defects are corrected free of charge. Privacy Customer data is handled confidentially and is not shared with third parties.
