Service Description

The air source heat pump annual service agreement is an ongoing service: we contact you once a year and agree a suitable service time - you do not need to watch the calendar. Each visit is the same light annual service as our heat pump seasonal maintenance: we clean every part that can be opened safely without heavy disassembly and check that the unit works as it should. In the interest of honesty: we are not a company specialised in heat pump service, and we do not take the unit apart - we do not remove motors or the fan, and we do not work on refrigerants. If a unit cannot be opened safely, we will not force it open. A handy owner can clean the filters themselves - the agreement is for those who want the work done carefully for them every year, and what we do, we do properly. The service covers the most common brands: Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Daikin, Toshiba, LG, Gree, Fujitsu, Hitachi and Samsung. Each visit includes: cleaning the indoor unit filters, vacuuming and cleaning the indoor unit coil where reachable, checking the outdoor unit coil and clearing it of debris, checking the condensate drain, a function test, and travel costs in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The price does not include: heavy disassembly (motors, fan, deep-cleaning the housing), refrigerant work or checking the refrigerant charge (these require refrigerant certification), repairs, or warranty service. For deeper service we recommend an authorised heat pump service company. Pricing: each visit is invoiced once a year after the work is completed - you pay nothing in advance. The agreement has no fixed term and can be ended at any time. A regularly cleaned unit heats and cools with lower electricity consumption. The labour share typically qualifies for the Finnish household expenses tax credit (kotitalousvähennys). We serve Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen and the rest of Uusimaa.
