Replacement of an old ventilation unit with a new one - removal, installation, commissioning.
Service Description
Ventilation unit replacement, when the old unit has reached the end of its service life, is inefficient, noisy or faulty. The typical service life of a ventilation unit is 15-20 years. If your unit is this old or older and shows symptoms, replacement is usually a more sensible option than repair. The price includes: removal and recycling of the old unit, installation of the new ventilation unit, sealing of the vapour barrier and penetrations, insulation of the exhaust and fresh air ducts, installation of the condensate drain, electrical connection to the existing supply cable, system testing, and travel costs in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Travel costs elsewhere in Uusimaa are agreed separately. The maximum duration of the installation work is 8 hours. The price does not include: the new ventilation unit itself (you can buy it through us or yourself), hours exceeding the maximum (billed separately), cleaning of the supply and exhaust ductwork, airflow measurement and balancing, or new electrical wiring (ordered separately from an electrical contractor). Work steps: 1. The old unit is removed and recycled. 2. The duct connections are prepared. 3. The new ventilation unit is installed. 4. The tightness of the vapour barrier and penetrations is verified. 5. The exhaust and fresh air ducts are insulated. 6. The condensate drain is installed. 7. The unit is connected to the power supply. 8. The system is tested and verified. Modern ventilation units, such as Enervent, Swegon, Vallox and Vilpe, offer significantly better heat recovery and energy efficiency than units 15-20 years old. Replacement can cut the energy consumption of ventilation by up to half. In connection with the replacement we also recommend duct cleaning and airflow measurement so that the new system performs at its best. These are ordered as separate services. Invoicing is possible - send a request to info@aeris.fi. Schedule changes and cancellations Schedule changes must be made at least 72 hours before the agreed time via our service page. Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance by email. A 20% handling fee is charged for cancellations of online payments, and 5% for cancellations of invoiced services. Order changes If an order needs to be changed, this is agreed case by case. Any additional costs are agreed separately. Warranty and liability The work is carried out to a high standard and as agreed. Installation work has a two-year warranty. Any defects are corrected free of charge. Privacy Customer data is handled confidentially and is not shared with third parties.
