Installation or replacement of duct silencers when the ventilation is noisy or silencers old.
Service Description
Installation or replacement of ventilation duct silencers, when the ventilation is noisy or the old silencers in the ductwork have reached the end of their service life. We install two silencers in the supply and exhaust ducts, or remove the old ones and install new ones in their place. The coating of old mineral wool silencers can become brittle over time, and fibres can shed into the ductwork and the airflow. In new silencers the damping material is coated or non-fibre-shedding (for example polyester-based), so there is no fibre source. We use well-known manufacturers such as Swegon, Lindab and FläktGroup. Prerequisite: the installer must be able to access the ductwork. Dismantling enclosures or suspended ceilings is not included in the service. The price includes: removal of the old silencers where needed, installation of the new ones, function testing, recycling of the removed materials, and travel costs in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The price does not include: the silencers themselves (billed separately) or opening and restoring structures. How it works: 1. Book the installation online. 2. Our installer removes the old silencers and installs the new ones. 3. Operation is tested and the waste is recycled. The labour share typically qualifies for the Finnish household expenses tax credit (kotitalousvähennys). We serve Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen and the rest of Uusimaa. If you do not know whether the noise comes from the silencers, the fan or the settings, first order the sound level and noise measurement or an on-site IV assessment (IV-katselmus).

Service area We mainly serve Uusimaa. Service elsewhere and the related costs are agreed separately. Prices and invoicing All prices include VAT. Invoicing is possible - send a request to info@aeris.fi. Schedule changes and cancellations Schedule changes must be made at least 72 hours before the agreed time via our service page. Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance by email. A 20% handling fee is charged for cancellations of online payments, and 5% for cancellations of invoiced services. Order changes If an order needs to be changed, this is agreed case by case. Any additional costs are agreed separately. Warranty and liability The work is carried out to a high standard and as agreed. Installation work has a two-year warranty. Any defects are corrected free of charge. Privacy Customer data is handled confidentially and is not shared with third parties. Customer's responsibility The customer provides the necessary documents and information on time and ensures that the work can be carried out as agreed.
