Ventilation damper motor replacement

Service Description

Replacement of the ventilation unit's damper actuator, when the unit starts making a recurring clicking noise - typically on cold autumn and winter nights. It sounds as if a damper is knocking inside the unit about once a second. The cause is usually a faulty damper actuator: the unit tries to open the air path of the HRV cell, but the actuator just clicks without a working stroke. The fault is typical in, for example, KAir Comfort and Vallox Digit SE units. We replace the faulty damper actuator with a new Belimo rotary actuator (LM24A or LM230A depending on the supply voltage). The price includes: one Belimo LM24A or LM230A actuator, removal of the old damper motor, installation and wiring of the new one, function testing, recycling of the old device, and travel costs in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The price does not include: service or repair of other parts, or other actuator models (agreed separately). How it works: 1. Book a time online. 2. Our installer removes the old motor, installs the Belimo actuator and tests the operation. The installation work has a two-year warranty. The labour share typically qualifies for the Finnish household expenses tax credit (kotitalousvähennys). We serve Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen and the rest of Uusimaa.
