Make-up air valve installation in a wall or window frame, when the home feels stuffy, the windows fog up, there are moisture problems or the ventilation does not work adequately. The most common cause is missing or insufficient make-up air - especially after a window renovation, when the old window gaps have been sealed shut. A lack of make-up air valves causes excessive negative pressure, so the ventilation cannot work as designed. Stale air stays inside, moisture is not removed, and over time the risk of moisture damage grows. The price includes: installation of the valve in the location you choose, drilling the hole with a standard drill, installation materials, user instructions, and travel costs. The price does not include: the make-up air valve itself (varies by model), diamond drilling (billed separately, needed for concrete walls), or possible additional parts or wider repair work. We advise you on choosing and placing a suitable valve, and handle the purchase for you. You decide the final installation location. The most common brands: Velco, Vilpe, Mobair. Work steps: The placement options and drilling direction are reviewed together. - The drilling location is checked (structures, electrical wiring). - The hole is drilled and the valve is installed. - Operation is tested and you receive user instructions.
