Service Description

Our service is not just a thermal camera walk-through and a photo report. It is a building-physics assessment: alongside thermal imaging we measure the ventilation airflows, check the pressure conditions and connect the findings to the building's drawings and system data. The result is a report that does not just document problems - it explains their causes, assesses their severity and prioritises the actions. The price includes: Thermal imaging with a thermal camera (FLIR, radiometric images) Measurement of ventilation airflows and a pressure-conditions check Analysis of findings and comparison against the design documents Calculation and classification of surface temperature indices (TI) (Finnish Housing Health Decree 545/2015) A detailed diagnostic report, including: - Thermal images and photographs of every finding - Measured values and TI classifications (good / to be monitored / to be repaired) - Plain-language explanations of what each finding means - Root-cause analysis: why the problem occurs, not just where - Prioritised recommendations for corrective actions What does this mean in practice? A conventional thermal imaging report might state: "A cold spot was observed at the window frame, further investigation is recommended." Our report tells you whether the cold spot is caused by an air leak, a thermal bridge, or a ventilation imbalance creating excessive negative pressure that pulls cold outdoor air in through leaks in the structure. This information decides whether the right thing gets repaired - or money is wasted. The service is a good fit when: The home has draught or cold problems with an unclear cause A housing company is planning repairs and needs reliable baseline data You want to find out whether the ventilation system is correctly adjusted You suspect heat leaks, thermal bridges or insulation defects You need a report that can support repair planning or a complaint How it works: You book the thermal imaging online at a time that suits you. Our specialist performs the thermal imaging and airflow measurements on site (about 2-3 hours). The findings are analysed, compared against the plans, and the temperature indices are calculated. You receive a detailed report stating exactly what is wrong, why, what to do about it, and in what order. Please note: Thermal imaging requires a temperature difference of at least 15 degrees C between indoor and outdoor air (typically the heating season). The price applies to properties up to 380 m2. Larger properties by separate agreement. Repairs are not included. Typical reasons to order thermal imaging: draughts, a cold wall or corner, window condensation, or a heating bill larger than your neighbours'. We serve Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen and the rest of Uusimaa.
