Service Description
The belt of the rotary heat recovery (HRV) wheel in Enervent Pingvin, Salla and LTR-3 units is a wear part. Even new belts can wear out in 1-2 years - especially in freezing weather the belt starts to slip, the wheel slows down or stops completely, and the unit becomes noisy. Symptoms that may be caused by a worn belt: - The wheel does not rotate or rotates slowly - The unit makes a recurring humming or thumping noise - The supply air feels cold in winter - Heat recovery efficiency has dropped The service is carried out in two visits, because the belt is ordered per unit and delivery takes about a week. On the first visit we check the situation, measure for the correct belt and assess other possible faults (motor, support rubbers, belt pulley). On the second visit the belt is replaced, heat recovery operation is verified and the casing is closed. The belt is billed separately, typically 25-40 EUR. The price includes: both visits in Espoo, Helsinki and nearby areas, opening and reassembling the HRV casing, belt installation, function testing, and a written receipt of the work done. Work steps: - The ventilation unit is switched off - The HRV casing is opened, the belt and motor are checked - The correct belt is ordered (delivery about 1 week) - The new belt is installed and the rotation of the wheel is verified - The casing is closed and the unit is restarted - Operation is tested The installation has a two-year warranty. If other faults are found during the visit, such as a worn motor or cracked support rubbers, we repair them by separate agreement. We serve Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen and nearby areas. Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance by email. A 20% handling fee is charged for cancellations of online payments, and 5% for cancellations of invoiced services. Order changes If an order needs to be changed, this is agreed case by case. Any additional costs are agreed separately. Warranty and liability The work is carried out to a high standard and as agreed. Installation work has a two-year warranty. Any defects are corrected free of charge. Privacy Customer data is handled confidentially and is not shared with third parties.
