Service Description

Radon fan installation at the end of an existing radon piping system, when radon levels exceed the permitted limit (200 Bq/m³) or the radon piping has been installed but there is no fan yet. Radon is an invisible, odourless gas and one of the most significant indoor air health risks in Finland. A radon fan is the most effective way to lower indoor radon levels. It creates negative pressure in the ground through the piping, so radon is led outside before it enters the indoor air. Passive radon piping alone is not enough in most cases - an active fan is needed to bring the levels down sufficiently. The price includes: installation of the radon fan at the end of the existing piping, electrical connection (when power is already available at the installation location), user instructions, and travel costs. The price does not include: the radon fan itself (varies by model), possible additional piping, electrical wiring to the installation location (if not already in place), or other additional work. These are billed separately. We help you choose the right radon fan and handle the purchase for you. The most common brands: Vilpe, Meltex. Work steps: 1. The existing piping and installation location are checked. 2. The radon fan is installed at the end of the piping. 3. The electrical and control connections are made. 4. Operation is tested and you receive user instructions. The installation typically takes about four hours. If there is no radon piping in place, we can also build the complete system - request a quote by email: info@aeris.fi. Not sure about your radon situation? Book an on-site IV assessment (IV-katselmus) and our specialist will evaluate the situation on site.
